BioSight-ID System Blocking Camera &/or Microphone

Issue:

Upon launching the monitoring tool for Biosight-ID you may encounter the following error.

"System blocking: Camera and/or Microphone".

Access to both your camera and microphone is required to begin a BioSight-ID session.

Windows

Check your browser permissions:
  1. Edge - locate Settings > Cookies Site and Permissions > Find the "Camera" and "Microphone" options and set both to ask or allow.
    1. Make sure that BSI -https://staging-sandbox.verifyexpress.com is not on your block list.
  2. Opera- Locate Settings > Privacy & Security > Site Settings > Find the "Camera" and "Microphone" options and set both to ask.
    1. Make sure that BSI -https://staging-sandbox.verifyexpress.com is not on your block list.
Check Windows Permissions:
    1. Set both App Access & Desktop App Access to on.
    2. Turn on both app access and desktop app access for the camera.

    1. Set both App Access & Desktop App Access to on.
    2. Turn on both app access and desktop app access for the microphone.
When you are done click try again.


Windows - blocking the camera & microphone

Mac OS:

Check your browser permissions:
  1. Safari- Locate the Safari menu > Settings > Websites > verify Camera and Microphone are set to ask or allow.
    1. Make sure that BSI - staging-sandbox.verifyexpress.com is set to ask or allow.
Check Mac OS permissions:

Locate the Apple menu by clicking on the Apple icon > System Settings > Privacy & Security (sidebar) > verify Camera and Microphone are allowed for the browser you are using.

When you are done click try again.
