Lenovo Users - Status Breakpoint Erorr
If you are using a Lenovo computer and encounter the following error when launching BioSightPlus-ID, it likely indicates that your system is missing critical updates to BIOS, and Intel Serial IO driver.
You will not be able to continue until your system is updated as this is an issue with your computer itself.

How To fix the Issue:
Step 1: Run the Official Lenovo Update System
- Open your Windows Start Menu and type Lenovo Vantage (if you do not have it, you can download it for free from the official Microsoft Store).
- Open the app, navigate to the System Update section, and click Check for Updates.
- Accept and install all recommended updates—especially anything labeled BIOS, Chipset, or Intel Graphics.
- Restart your computer when prompted.
Step 2: Manual Update Direct Links (If Step 1 is unavailable)
If
the app does not run, you can manually download and install the
official updates using these direct links to Lenovo's global content
network. Please run them in this exact order:

(Fixes core hardware communication lines) - [Install Second] Serial IO Bus Controller: Download Serial IO Package
(Fixes data timing between your processor and RAM) - [Install Third] Intel Iris Graphics Driver: Download Graphics Package
(Updates your video card to prevent browser tab crashes) - [Install Last] System BIOS Update: Download BIOS Package
(Fixes deep system-level stability rules.
Note: Make sure your laptop is plugged into the wall outlet before starting this final update).Once
your computer restarts, open Microsoft Edge and launch your proctoring
session again. It should initialize your webcam and desktop recording
smoothly without any further issues.
