If you are using a Lenovo computer and encounter the following error when launching BioSightPlus-ID, it likely indicates that your system is missing critical updates to BIOS, and Intel Serial IO driver.

You will not be able to continue until your system is updated as this is an issue with your computer itself.

How To fix the Issue:

Step 1: Run the Official Lenovo Update System

  1. Open your Windows Start Menu and type Lenovo Vantage (if you do not have it, you can download it for free from the official Microsoft Store).
  2. Open the app, navigate to the System Update section, and click Check for Updates.
  3. Accept and install all recommended updates—especially anything labeled BIOS, Chipset, or Intel Graphics.
  4. Restart your computer when prompted.
