SEB Known Issues
There are situations that can create problems, so once we discover those we will document them here.
Trend Micro: SEB errors before course opens
Trend Micro is not compatible with SEB presently. There is no current fix.Workaround: pause/disable Trend Micro Maximum Protection, take your test with SEB, and afterwards reactivate Trend Micro Maximum Protection.Trend Micro Maximum Protection, even on 17.8 (latest version) can cause Safe Exam Browser (SEB) to show one of the following error messages.You can only run one instance of SEB at a time
Automatic Termination Failed
Microsoft Teams (ms-teams.exe) application is not allowed, but SEB is prevented from terminating it automatically, because security software attached itself
Trend Micro Password Manager
We have discovered that the the Micro Trend password manager prevents Microsoft Teams from closing.
How to uninstall: https://helpcenter.trendmicro.com/en-us/article/tmka-14449If you rely on this password manager you'll need to reach out to Trend Micro support for a solution.
Unknown Issue
If you stumble upon an unknown issue (we are actively investigating the "Unexpectedly terminated" issue) then you can assist us by supply the SEB log files. There is a dedicated article with instructions on how to do so by Provide Debug Info to Assist Support.
